Dear Mighty Moose Customers,

Cheryl and I have been pleased to serve you during the last several years and have greatly appreciated your business. It's time for me to pass the torch to someone younger and more able to keep up with ever changing technologies -- not to mention climb up ladders, which is involved in maintaining the wireless network. I took a nasty spill from a ladder last fall (from up about two stories onto concrete!). The event made me realize that I'm either too old or too klutzy for the tasks involved in maintaining the Internet infrastructure.

Terry Vance, of Spring Creek Wireless, has assumed Mighty Moose as of September 1. He started affordable wireless Internet near the Horse Palace sometime last year and will now be managing the wireless in the Mobile Section along with Mighty Moose dial-up. He has plans to provide broad coverage in Spring Creek.

Other than the person answering the phone and the address for mailing checks (now P.O. Box 8352 in Spring Creek, 89815), you should see no changes in your service.

I'm very pleased to be turning Mighty Moose over to someone local and experienced. Terry's wife, Cathy Vance, also owns a local business. A Doctor of Audiology, she owns Family Hearing Services in Elko. Together, the Vances appear to be all about facilitating communications!

I've taken the position of webmaster at Great Basin College and am very much enjoying my post there. The college has really transformed during the last decade. It's a wonderful place to be. I'm also still hosting and maintaining several local web sites.

Cheryl will be concentrating on her music. She's been recording original songs that knock my socks off!

Here's wishing the best to all of you as well!

Very truly yours,

Susanna Dorr
